Everyone Doesn’t Belong In Your Next Chapter

The Hermit represents solitude, reflection, inner wisdom, clarity, and the search for a deeper truth.

Nine represents COMPLETION, release, wisdom, and the closing of a cycle before entering what comes next. It carries the energy of gathering what has been learned, LETTING GO of what has served its purpose, and preparing for a new chapter.

The Hermit speaks to the seasons when outside voices become too loud and STEPPING AWAY becomes necessary to hear what is happening within.

Friends may have opinions. Family may have expectations. Others may have advice, questions, fears, and ideas about what should happen next. But sometimes CLARITY requires DISTANCE from all of it.

There are seasons when putting your head down and FOCUSING becomes necessary. Not forever, but long enough to reconnect with an INNER KNOWING that can become difficult to hear when everyone else has a voice in the decision.

The Hermit carries the lantern because the light needed for the next step comes from WITHIN. The entire path doesn’t have to be illuminated at once. Sometimes enough clarity comes from simply becoming QUIET enough to HEAR the next step.

And nine reminds us that moving into something new often requires RELEASE. EVERYBODY CAN’T GO into the next chapter.

Some relationships may have completed their purpose. Some environments may have become too toxic. Some habits may belong to an older version of life. Some expectations may need to be let go. Some opinions may no longer deserve a seat at the table.

Not everything that was part of one chapter belongs in the NEXT.

The Hermit reminds us that sometimes the path forward becomes clearer when the noise gets quieter and the weight gets lighter.
